Alklika

Statuses & hospital

In Alklika, actions have consequences. A failed mission, a lost duel, a crime or a long journey change your status — and limit what you can do for a while.

Character statuses

  • Active — the normal state; all actions available.
  • Travelling — you are crossing the map; city actions are unavailable until you arrive.
  • In hospital — your health dropped too low; you need to heal.
  • In jail — the consequence of a caught crime; serve the time or post bail.

Limiting statuses have a duration: once it expires you are free again — even if the interface hasn't refreshed the label yet.

The hospital

The hospital isn't a punishment — it's part of the game's rhythm. You end up here after serious health loss: a lost fight, a hard mission, a dangerous expedition.

  • Healing over time — free: your health recovers on its own while you wait.
  • Paid healing — return to action instantly for a fee, when waiting isn't an option.
  • On leaving the hospital your health is raised not to the bare minimum but to a reasonable floor — so you don't get knocked straight back on the first hit.

How not to live in the hospital

Don't take missions above your level, watch your health before a fight, train Endurance (it also raises your max HP) and keep healing items handy. Risk is part of the game, but calculated risk pays off.
